WILPF and Roots of Promise held a Penny Poll, asking people to choose how they would like to spend their taxes. Each of the 167 participants was given 10 pennies to put into jars of their choice. Healthcare won with 486, Education was close behind with 451, food- 343, Housing - 323, and the Pentagon - 74. |
